What started as a normal day December 2023 on the beaches of Rarotonga, I opened my first coconut by hand at 26, the astonishing pure white interior and hues of the beautiful brown shells, the aroma of coconut scent, the majestic sand surroundings and amazing Rarotonga Reef waves played in the background. Everything seemed perfect for that minute alone unlike anything I experienced, beholding the open Coconut on the beach shore. Being Raised away from the islands I always knew there was something special about my Island heritage despite the negativity of being called a "Coconut", I thought why not put it on a shirt and flip the meaning to a more positive one, one of self confidence and invigorating esteem with a current stylish finish! from that moment of my first prints in 2025, the Coconut brand was born!
